Historic Condo Near Antietam and Whitetail Ski

The apartment is well stocked and beautifully finished. The ON STREET parking was plentiful and felt safe. The two bedroom and bathroom have individual heaters to control the heat.I had a question and the host messaged me back within minutes. I was very disappointed that the listing didn't say it is a 3 STORY WALK UP. Luckily my mother could not come. If she had she would have had to stop for at least 10 minutes on the way up since the historic building's first floor has 10 foot ceilings. It was so close to the Maryland theater (which is why we were there) but to get there the street is about 5 flights down. You can walk a long way around to avoid the stairs but it is still a big incline getting home.

My family took a quick weekend trip before the rest of the holiday events took over. We had stayed here before and were very happy with the host and the experience.The property is great for our 3 person family. We were able to get around Hagerstown a bit as well as enjoy the space. (My son and I caught a great sunrise through one of the windows.)The host and his team are responsive and patient. Something broke and the host stayed in contact with us and found a solution. (Thanks again!)We look forward to coming back!

We keep coming back to this rental. It’s a great location, the apartment is cozy and it’s always easy to book and use.

The condo was very clean. The stairs were no problem for our crew but could be an issue to anyone older or not in shape. The Check in process was easy and we had a great overall stay.

A must in places to stay Positive: Absolutely loved the showers and the claw tub!!! Everything was amazing and would highly recommend this place to anyone. From the historic layout and making decor to the beautiful views this home was a great place to spend time at. Negative: That when we were asked not to use the "fire escape" (in our defense it was not marked, and was not blocked off so we were unaware the stairs were a fire escape) we discontinued use (in fact never even left again until checkout the next morning) however received another message that were still using the stairs. My guess is that the "complaints" about us using the stairs were delayed. I just found it annoying that I was told we were still using the stairs when we were no linger using them. Again that I believe was because of a delay in the host receiving the message vs real time but that is the only thing we didnt like so no real reflection on our recommendation on the place it was absolutely amazing and would love to stay again.
